Frameline50 – San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, June 17-27, 2026

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival — presented by Frameline — is the world’s oldest and largest queer film festival. Founded in 1977, the festival welcomes more than 60,000 attendees from 80+ countries, making it the most well‑attended LGBTQ+ arts event in the United States. Frameline50 marks a historic milestone for LGBTQ+ cinema and is one of the most significant cultural celebrations of the year. This year’s event will continue to showcase diverse global stories and celebrate queer filmmakers and talent.

Frameline50 will take place June 17–27, 2026, at venues across San Francisco and Oakland, including the iconic Castro Theatre.

Frameline, the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, is the world’s oldest and largest LGBTQ+ film festival, founded in 1977 and now a global leader in queer cinema.
