Culver City is Calling You for Pride and We Have the Place to Stay!

As June and Pride month festivities are days away, Culver City’s The Shay should be on travelers’ radars as a property where luxury is served with pride—and for Pride!

The Shay is perfectly situated within the walkable Culver City Arts District and a few blocks from Downtown Culver City. The hotel is also highly accessible to the best of Los Angeles, making it the perfect launch pad for travelers looking to explore all the city’s hot spots.

Culver City is generally considered a gay-friendly area within the Los Angeles metro area. While not as well-known as the traditional gayborhood of West Hollywood, it offers a welcoming environment and a sense of community for LGBTQ+ residents and visitors. Culver City’s location on the Westside of Los Angeles makes it easily accessible to other areas known for their LGBTQ+ friendliness, such as West Hollywood and Santa Monica.

Take a tour of The Shay suites here:

For Pride, for any out-of-towners or locals wanting a staycation, The Shay welcomes travelers to use the code: SHAYSP to receive 15% off their best available rate. Being so centrally located with easy access to the city’s festivities, it makes it easy to join on June 28 for the Pride Ride

In addition to enjoying The Shay’s spacious guest rooms, two new restaurants, and the city’s only rooftop pool, pride-goers can join Culver City’s Pride Ride and Rally on June 28. Starting at 4pm, attendees will ride through the neighborhood streets of Culver City (giving a wave to The Shay) and finish at the Culver City PRIDE Festival at Town Plaza at The Culver Steps in Downtown Culver City! Please note that riding a bike is not required. Attendees are encouraged to wear their most colorful outfits while experiencing the scenic views of historic Culver City while walking, biking, skating, and more.

An overnight stay is not required to enjoy the vibey pool deck. Daybeds, sectionals, cabanas, private rooftop space, and even a day room can be reserved through the hotel’s ResortPass.
