Drink Martinis and Support Your Favorite LGBTQ+ Charity

Junipero Gin launches its Fourth Annual Martini Week on May 19–25, raising spirits and giving back to the LGBTQ+ community.

Junipero Gin, America’s Original Craft Gin, today announces the return of its successful and charitable Martini Week program, running from Monday, May 19, through Sunday, May 25, in 12 cities nationwide – including San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. Martini lovers can indulge in martinis that matter at participating bars and restaurants to help raise funds for local community organizations with the goal to exceed the $40,000 raised by the program in 2024.

Northern California’s beneficiary (and the program’s original beneficiary) is San Francisco’s Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence®.

“We are excited to throw this weeklong celebration and continue raising funds for The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence® – a longstanding LGBTQIA+ charitable organization whose roots in San Francisco go back to 1979, and now have chapters worldwide,” states Junipero Gin’s website.

The Sisters put the funds they raise towards supporting local organizations and projects that provide direct services to under-served and embattled communities. Following their vows to “expiate stigmatic guilt and promulgate universal joy,” they use humor and irreverent wit to expose the forces of bigotry, complacency and guilt that chain the human spirit. As Martini Week™ is expanding to more cities, so is our support for The Sisters! Funds raised this year will go towards the following regional chapters: The Mother House in San Francisco, The Capitol City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, The Order of the Flaming Sugarbakers, The Boston Sisters – Convent of the Commonwealth, and Music City Sisters.

In addition, Martini Week 2025 will donate funds to other local organizations in each participating city, including Los Angeles’s Surfrider Foundation; San Diego’s The Animal Pad; Las Vegas’s The Center; Telluride’s Protect Our Winters; Austin’s chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence; Chicago’s PrideArts; Boston’s BAGLY; Nashville’s chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and Milwaukee’s GSAFE.

What began in 2022 as a tribute to San Francisco, the birthplace of both the Martini and Junipero Gin, has grown into a national celebration of self-expression, community, and one of the world’s most iconic cocktails. Aligned with Junipero’s ethos to “Live Life Unfiltered,” Martini Week encourages top bars and restaurants alike to “Express Yourself” with their own new inspiring Martini while raising funds for featured local organizations.

During this special week, participating bars and restaurants will create their own unique Martinis featuring Junipero Gin, and for each signature Junipero Martini sold, Junipero will donate $2 to support local charitable organizations. Participating cities include San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Milwaukee, Nashville, Chicago, Austin, Telluride and Las Vegas.
