It’s no secret that Mexico City is one of the world’s most sought-after destinations, and October is the perfect time to experience its extraordinary energy, rich history, and eclectic communities. During this season, the city comes alive with the excitement of its most iconic calendar event: the epic Día de los Muertos celebrations that flood the city with a mesmerizing vibrance.

Mexico celebrates Día de los Muertos every November 1st and 2nd. This beautiful holiday aims to remember deceased loved ones through different activities. This tradition comes from a mixture of Mexican pre-Hispanic and European Catholic cultures. For Día de los Muertos in Mexico City in 2025, the celebrations will include multiple parades, a variety of concerts and theatrical performances, and traditional events in locations like Xochimilco.
