This June, Greater Fort Lauderdale celebrates the rich culture, history and achievements of the LGBT+ community with colorful parades, historical exhibits and culinary experiences.
With the motto “Everyone Under the Sun,” the destination is widely recognized as the LGBT+ capital of Florida, welcoming pride and inclusivity year-round.
Here are some of the ways the destination continues to strengthen its legacy this Pride Month and beyond:
Pride Festivities
Celebrating almost 25 years of love and inclusion, Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride returns on June 14, 2025 to commemorate the historic Stonewall Riots. Those looking to support LGBT+ youth this month can attend FLoatarama on June 21, 2025, America’s largest Pride-on-Water fundraiser. From July 11-13, 2025, FlockFest honors their 10th anniversary with a rainbow extravaganza, boasting an abundance of LGBT+ joy and creativity.
LGBT+ Restaurants
The destination is famous for its iconic drag dining scene, featuring fabulous drag performers at Aquaplex. For an unforgettable brunch experience, LGBT+ travelers can enjoy a pride-themed mermaid burlesque show at the Wreck Bar at B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach or experience the technicolor vibes inside of Rosie’s Bar & Grill.
