Paris Hilton and Catherine O’Hara Lead New Hilton Campaign

Hilton has launched a new, soon-to-be global, ad campaign starring heiress Paris Hilton (the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels) with narration from the one and only Catherine O’Hara.

In recent years, Paris has moved away from her party girl socialite image. Still, it seems we will never forget her as a fixture of the early aughts “it girl” scene hanging with the likes of Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, and Nicole Richie, which is how gay men and straight girls came to know and love her. Similarly, Catherine O’Hara’s Emmy award-winning performance as the iconic Moira Rose in Schitt’s Creek cemented her into the hearts of queer people everywhere making her a bona fide gay icon as well. To see these two paired together is the gay pop culture crossover we never knew we needed!

The ”Hilton: For the Stay” campaign features a number of ads that explore the pitfalls of traveling. Paris stars in an ad comically demonstrating how a connecting room can be used for extra storage space or “you know, for your family.” Another ad shows a family checking into a haunted mansion that “looked different online”. There are also commercials about traveling with kids and pets all touting the tagline voiced by Catherine O’Hara: “It matters where you stay”.

The hotel giant is putting its properties front and center in its advertising instead of leaning on locations and sentiment. Besides television ads, the campaign will include audio, print, and social media components which will include partnerships with influencers across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter. The campaign will extend to the United Kingdom and selected Middle Eastern and Asian markets.

So, what are you waiting for bebé? Book your stay in a Hilton property today. That’s hot!
