The Amazing Race’s Joe Moskowitz and Ian Todd Reflect on Their Epic Run

Last week, we were gutted after our favorite team – Joe Moskowitz and Ian Todd – was eliminated from The Amazing Race (Season 35). Well, the couple sat down to talk to Vacationer Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Kwin Mosby, who is also a fan of the reality competition show.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of slow internet/technical issues, so we edited the 15-minute interview into five separate parts but managed to save all the juicy details about their experience on the race around the world.

Joe and Ian: Rickshaw Race, Detours, and Team Strategy

In the video clip below, Joe Moskowitz (on the left) and Ian Todd (on the right) talk about the intense rickshaw race to the pitstop against a team of sisters, Morgan and Lena, in Jaipur, India. They explain their strategy as a team, and they reflect on the floating market detour in Vietnam when Ian forgot to grab the clue after completing a task.

Joe and Ian: After the Elimination and Watching with Family & Friends

We were curious to know if contestants leave immediately after they are eliminated from the race, and Joe and Ian gave us the scoop on the options they were offered and how long they decided to stay in India. The couple chatted about how family and friends have reacted to their epic journey on The Amazing Race, and they provided details about the epic season premiere party for the first episode!

Joe and Ian: Team Bonds and Preparing for The Amazing Race

Kwin asked the guys which team or teams they wanted to cross the finish line at the end of this season’s big race. They didn’t mention a specific team, but they did tell him the teams they bonded with the most.

You also get to hear how Team Joe and Ian prepared for The Amazing Race. We’ll give you a quick hint: scavenger hunts in Philadelphia and Washington, DC. You’ll have to watch to get more details!

Joe and Ian: Redemption and Advice for Hopeful Contestants

Would the world travelers accept the challenge to be contestants on The Amazing Race if asked? Watch to see how they responded! And if you’ve always wanted to be a contestant on the big race around the world; watch, listen, and take notes because Ian and Joe offered some solid advice.

Joe and Ian: Final Thoughts

We wrap up our interview with Joe and Ian’s final thoughts about their experience on The Amazing Race

So, what’s next for Joe and Ian? The couple is planning a possible trip to Brazil to ring in the New Year and escape the cold of New York City. And just for those who are curious, they have not set a wedding date… yet.

See if Joe and Ian’s favorite teams make it to the last pitstop first! You can catch The Amazing Race Season 35 on Wednesdays (9:30-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.  You can also follow The Amazing Race on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
