Tinkerbelle and Belle Pick Their Favorite Pet-Friendly Hotels

They’ve been kissed or posed for photos with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, The Fab 5, and Charlie Puth. Now, pet influencers Tinkerbelle the Dog and her baby sister Belle The Dog – with more than 700,000 followers on social media – have graduated to celebrity status as actors, fashion icons, and the official 2021 and 2022 pups of the Empire State Building.

But what attracted us to the four-legged travelers is their impressive jetsetting adventures around the world to search out the best and most luxurious pet-friendly hotels, resorts, and destinations in the world. Tinkerbelle The Dog has her international blog, Traveling Tink, and Belle The Dog has joined in on the fun, too!

And now, the two pups are giving Vacationer the scoop on their favorite pet-friendly hotels and the reasons why they’d stay there again – ok, with some help from the sidekick and owner, Sam Carrell. The hotels are not listed in any particular order.

Sofitel LA at Beverly Hills
The Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills offers specialized services and first-class amenities designed to make pets and their owners feel at home. Tinkerbelle and Belle like the complimentary VIP pet package that allows a free stay for pets no matter the weight or size. The package includes a luxury orthopedic dog bed and Sofitel branded treats.

Highline Vail
A DoubleTree by Hilton property, the Highline Vail is not only located off I-70 in Colorado but it serves as the perfect getaway for dogs who enjoy fresh air and powder. What are the perks if you stay here? Tink and Belle like the fact that the hotel allows two dogs per guest room, however, you will have to pay $40 for each pet.  And that’s a reasonable price point in comparison to a few hotels that appear on this list.

Kona Kai Resort & Spa
If you’re a pet owner in need of a getaway in Southern California, you might want to consider a stay at the Kona Kai Resort & Spa with your four-legged friends. Located on San Diego’s waterfront island oasis, this hotel, according to these intrepid pet influencers, is one of their favorite picks because of the onsite certified therapists that are fully trained on canine massages and wellness, walking paths near the hotel, and onsite restaurant and dog bar that features a dog-approved menu. Bone appetit!

Refinery Hotel New York
Situated near Bryant Park – Manhattan’s Town Square – makes this hotel the perfect spot to check out local art, watch tense chess games, and go ice skating. It’s also a great spot if you enjoy people-watching. So, what do Tinkerbelle and Belle like about the Refinery Hotel New York? Pets can stay at the hotel for free, and cozy dog beds and treats are available upon request.

The Whitney Hotel Boston
Pet owners looking for a place to stay in Boston may want to consider a stay at this gem in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. The Whitney Hotel Boston welcomes two pets for $125 per stay and provides a plush dog bed, pet feeder, and complimentary treats for each room.

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park
The clear reason for staying at this luxury hotel is the location near Central Park, providing your pets a free place to roam, run, and play. For pet owners, The Ritz-Carlton New York has a new gastro lounge, Contour, which celebrates luxury handcraft cocktails. La Prairie Spa, fitness center and townhouse-inspired hotel rooms with views of the city and the park have been recently redesigned or renovated.  Dogs and cats are welcomed here, but only one pet – up to 60 pounds – is allowed per stay for a $250 charge. That’s a lot of milk bones!

The Art Hotel
The Art Hotel in Denver looks like an architectural piece of art. And you and your pooch can stay at this hotel with its colorful, modern art décor, located across from the History Colorado Center and around the corner from the Denver Art Museum.  What are the pet perks here? Two dogs up to 60 pounds are welcome for no additional fee. Tink and Belle’s friends (or dog and pup hotel guests) can pick up their beds and bowls at the front desk.

Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston
In Charleston, South Carolina, the Grand Bohemian Hotel – located on Wentworth and Meeting Streets – takes up almost an entire city block because there’s a wine bar and gallery adjacent to the hotel. The accommodations are dog-friendly but expect to pay $150 per stay for one dog of any size and $200 per stay for two dogs of any size. Dog treats are available at the front desk.

High Peaks Resort
A five-hour drive north of New York City, High Peaks Resort is the perfect home base for a snowshoe trek or skiing adventure at Whiteface Mountain in the winter or a relaxing hike around Lake Placid in the summer. This is a dog’s outdoor wonderland. Tinkerbelle and Belle said a stay here is a $45 per dog per day charge, but a cushioned dog bed is included as well as complimentary bandanas, mats, and water bowls.

Baccarat Hotel New York
The Museum of Modern Art is just a short walk from the high-end Baccarat Hotel New York. To check into this hotel, you’ll have to pay $250 per stay for two pets with a combined weight of 20 pounds. Well, that’s really not surprising in this expensive Manhattan area, where high-end shopping is only a few feet away on 5th Avenue. Pets will receive a goodie bag at check-in, and there’s also a grassy area for pet “relief” as well as a park nearby.
