Get in On Palm Springs Pride This November

Are you peeping Palm Springs for Pride? Here’s our quick, last-minute guide.

With its stunning desert landscapes, vibrant culture, and welcoming spirit, Palm Springs has long been recognized as a premier LGBTQ+ destination. Each fall, the city’s inclusive energy shines even brighter during Palm Springs Pride (November 6-9), one of the region’s most anticipated annual events that draws visitors from around the world to celebrate community, creativity, and self-expression.

This year, Palm Springs’ iconic Pride celebrations could be the community balm you need! During this year’s Pride, themed “Be Heard,” highlights include lively parades, colorful street fairs, and community events that showcase the diversity and unity of the LGBTQ+ community.

But wait: Just before Pride kicks off, Greater Palm Springs will debut the first-ever Scoop Palm Springs Ice Cream Festival on November 2, benefiting the LGBTQ Center’s Community Food Bank. Net proceeds will directly support the organization, which provides free food to more than 350 families each week. The festival will showcase over 20 local ice cream and gelato vendors, including Handel’s, Saffron Restaurant, and Shake Shack, serving up more than 50 delicious flavors to sample. Guests can also enjoy a live DJ, custom-engraved ice cream bowls, on-site t-shirt screen printing, and a kids’ art area hosted by the Palm Springs Art Museum. It’s set to be a day full of flavor, creativity, and fun under the desert sun. Additional information and tickets here.

The festivities culminate with the Pride Parade on Sunday, November 9, starting in the Uptown Design District and ending at the festival on Amado. During the parade, thousands of spectators will gather along the palm tree-lined streets to cheer and support local organizations, activists, and themed floats.
