CANDIACE is a multi-hyphenate talent, a singer, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, and television personality, best known for her breakout role on The Real Housewives of Potomac and her appearance on season four of The Traitors. A former Obama White House staffer and Miss United States 2013, she brings a distinct blend of intellect, artistry, and ambition to every endeavor. In 2021, she released her Billboard-charting R&B album Deep Space, with her second album slated for release this summer. Her latest single, “If Only,” is out now, alongside a remix featuring Tamar Braxton. In addition to her music career, she has appeared in films for BET and Netflix and co-owns a growing portfolio of beauty and wellness businesses. Known for her signature wit and unfiltered candor, CANDIACE brings her full self to every platform she touches, including her latest venture, Undomesticated, her debut podcast with Audacy.

CANDIACE joins previously announced performers: Bentley Robles, Princess Superstar, Cassidy King, Nekeith, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, and Amber Ryann. The Pride Village will also spotlight a series of curated programming, including a showcase from the season one cast of King of Drag–the first-ever drag king competition series–presented by Revry and co-hosted by Damian Pelliccione and Mayhem Miller; Preciosa Night, celebrating queer Latinx nightlife and culture; and the LA Pride Ball, presented by the iconic House of Ninja. Acclaimed DJs from iHeartRadio will be spinning throughout the day.

The theme of the 56th Annual LA Pride Parade is “Rise with Pride,” reflecting the resilience of a community that continues to rise through change, challenge, and collective growth. This year’s Grand Marshals include Jeff Hiller as Celebrity Grand Marshal, Mia Yamamoto as Community Grand Marshal, and the late Shirley Raines as Legacy Grand Marshal. Their visibility, courage, and lifelong commitment to authenticity reflect the enduring strength and evolution of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The LA Pride Parade route will begin at Sunset Blvd. and Highland Ave., traveling north to Hollywood Blvd., east to Cahuenga Blvd., and south back to Sunset Blvd. Pride Village stretches along Hollywood Boulevard from Vine Street to Gower Street. Applications for both the Parade and Pride Village are now open.
The Pride Village continues to serve as a free and open-to-the-public gathering space for celebration, community resources, local vendors, nonprofit organizations, and cultural expression.
