Experience Pride, Thai Style!

Bangkok, Phuket, and Pattaya, Thailand, offer incredible Pride experiences for LGBTQ vacationers.

As global travelers look to celebrate Pride Month through vibrant, experiential travel, Thailand stands out as a leading LGBTQ+ destination, further solidified by the legalization of same-sex marriage in 2025—and by the traditional welcoming hospitality of Thai culture and people.

Throughout June, standout events take place across the country, including Bangkok Pride (May 31 – June 28), a month-long celebration featuring parades and performances; Phuket Pride (June 1 – 7), offering colorful beachside festivities and community gatherings; and Circuit Festival Asia in Pattaya (June 19–21), which draws an international crowd for vibrant, high-energy nightlife, world-class DJs, followed by Pattaya Pride (June 26-28)—incredible, immersive parties in one of Thailand’s most dynamic coastal cities.

In 2021, Charles Sansing and Allen Ellis decided to travel to Thailand under the “Phuket Sandbox,” Thailand’s reopening program for international tourists. They held their wedding ceremony on July 29, 2021, at Bluesiam Villa, Phuket. The couple wanted to pick a destination in Asia that was LGBTQ+ friendly and decided on Phuket.

The festival centers around Beach Road and is expected to be one of the city’s largest LGBTQIA+ events to date, featuring a massive parade and high-energy parties. A massive 2.8-kilometer parade will march along Pattaya Beach Road. In previous years, this event has drawn over 10,000 participants and featured up to 100 parade floats.
