This Texas Beach Paradise is Celebrating Love, Diversity and Community for Pride 2026

South Padre Island will welcome visitors from across Texas and beyond for a colorful long weekend celebrating love, diversity and community during South Padre Pride 2026, October 9–12.

The four-day celebration on the tropical barrier island brings together live entertainment, poolside fun, and plenty of Pride spirit at venues across the Island. This year’s lineup includes drag shows, adults-only pool parties with DJs, Pride Music Bingo, a Drag Bingo Brunch, and the “Best Little Rocky Whore Show in Texas” movie screening and costume party. Lyn-Z Andrews, a fixture of the San Antonio drag scene, will also be among the featured performers.

“South Padre Island has always been a place where people can come as they are, relax and enjoy everything that makes our Island special,” said Kelly deSchaun, Chief Executive Officer of Visit South Padre Island. “South Padre Pride brings that welcoming spirit to life with a weekend filled with fun, friendship and celebration, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Island.”

Among the weekend highlights will be “Rhinestones & Fishnets,” a drag show honoring Dolly Parton and actor Tim Curry, beginning at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday the 10th at the Upper Deck. Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme with plenty of rhinestones and fishnets.

The weekend’s signature Caravan of Colors takes to Padre Boulevard at noon on Monday, October 12, beginning at the South Padre Island Convention Center. Participants are invited to decorate their vehicles and join the colorful procession through the Island.
