Chillimix Reveals Its Top Recommendations for 2022-2023 Pride Events

Chillimix, an LGBTQ+ travel company, based in Manchester, launched this year. Since their February launch, they have seen growth and interest in their range of travel products that include city breaks, luxury beach holidays, cruises, adventure holidays and so much more. Chillimix specializes in safe destinations and only sells holidays to destinations where the LGBTQ+ community is free to be themselves, proving to be a huge unique selling point for the company.

The Chillimix Team searched the globe for some of the best Pride events and has revealed their top recommendations for Pride celebrations for the remainder of 2022 and during 2023. Chillimix’s choices include some real hidden gems and bucket list destinations.


Gran Canaria Winter Pride (Nov. 7-13, 2022)

The 8th Edition of Winter Pride in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria offers an incredible quick winter getaway filled with diverse activities. Indulge in some queer fun at the BBQ & Pool Chillout Party at AxelBeach Hotel (Nov. 7), join the Muchacha Pool Party (for queer womxn) at the Ritual Hotel (Nov. 8), enjoy Gran Canaria on a Gay Boat Cruise (Nov. 10) rated 5-stars on TripAdvisor.com by more than 1,700 people. Dance the night away at watch one of Europe’s best Queen Tribute Bands perform live on the Yumbo Main Stage (Nov. 10), and so much more! 

For the big finale, you can don your gayest apparel to celebrate Pride Walk with 20,000 LGBTQ+ revelers. And afterward, you absolutely cannot miss the Dance with Pride Event. It’s a not-to-be-missed Pride weekend that’s only a 4.5-hour flight from the UK.



Sydney WorldPride 2023 (February 17-March 5, 2023)

If there is ever a reason to plan a trip to Australia – this would be it! Book your trip to Down Under for Sydney WorldPride 2023 where LGBTQ+ ally and pop icon Kylie Minogue will headline the Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert! Queer revelers will have so many things to do and see here, including Mardi Gras Fair Day at Victoria Park, Marid Gras Paradiso Pool Party at the Ivy Pool Club, the First Nations Gathering Space at Carriageworks as well as a human rights conference, pool parties, cabarets, and comedy shows. EuroPride Valletta in Malta (September 7-17, 2023)

From the Opening Ceremony to the Pride March and Concert, EuroPride Valletta makes its debut in Malta, a country that has ranked at the top of ILGA World’s Rainbow Index for the past five years. This Pride celebration is chocked full of events including open mic nights, roller discos, boat parties, and a Pride party in the harbor. And, Chillimix will be hosting their own exclusive Pride Boat Party at the 2023 EuroPride.



Cape Town Pride (February 1-March 5, 2023)

Cape Town Pride is undoubtedly the up-and-coming Pride gem to hit the global Pride circuit. Pride month in Cape Town is touted as “the Hottest party in Africa’s Rainbow Nation.” Why? Because Cape Town Pride has its own style, providing LGBTQ+ revelers with the hot winter sun, beautiful beaches, and a great vantage point for panoramic views from atop the famous Table Mountain. Choose from a variety of fabulous events – drag shows, many pool parties, sporting events, film shows, art exhibitions, and the Pink Party. Taiwan Pride (Usually held in October)

Plan for your 2023 trip to celebrate Pride in Taiwan. Hosted in Taipei with more than 200,000 people from around the world, Taiwan Pride is the biggest LGBTQ+ event in Asia! If you are looking for a Pride event with culture – Taipei is the Pride to add to your wander list. In addition to Pride festivities and more than 20 LGBTQ+ bars and clubs in the Red House District to explore, queer travelers can also enjoy sightseeing and visiting the city’s top attractions including the National Palace Museum, Taipei 101, the Longshan Temple, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Park, and the Lin An Tai Historical House and Museum. And don’t leave the city without experiencing its bustling night markets like the Shilin Night Market and shopping in the Ximending neighborhood.
