Kapa’a, Kauai
Kapa’a, Kauai, Hawaii, is the most beautiful, secret US beach town according to new data. With just 900 average monthly searches and a beauty score of 8.13/10, giving it a final score of 8.59/10. This beach town is located on the eastern shore of Kauai, Hawaii, within the area commonly labeled as the “Coconut Coast”. Sandbridge Beach, Virginia
Sandbridge Beach, Virginia, shares the top spot, also scoring 8.59/10. This coastal community is located on a barrier spit bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Back Bay to the west. It is known for its quieter, more local feel, making it a great coastal spot to escape the bustle of those more popular beaches. Edisto Beach, South Carolina
South Carolina is home to the third-most beautiful hidden gem beach town, Edisto Beach, which scores 8.45/10. It is known for its relaxed, residential atmosphere and is located approximately 45 miles south of Charleston. It can be found on Edisto Island, surrounded by tidal creeks and marshes. Ocracoke, North Carolina
One of the best-kept secrets of North Carolina, Ocracoke Island is a remote island community based at the southern tip of Hatteras Island within the Outer Banks barrier island chain. It is only accessible by automobile or passenger ferries from Hatteras Island, Cedar Island, or Swan Quarter, and is a gorgeous 16-mile-long strip of land characterized by sandy beaches, salt marshes, and woodlands. Massachusetts’ Edgartown takes fifth, scoring 8.02/10, but has the most searches in the top ten (1,050). However, it slightly beats Ocracoke on beauty, scoring 7.91/10. Edgartown is situated on the southeastern shore of Martha’s Vineyard. It is located on the eastern end, bordering Edgartown Harbor and Katama Bay. Edgartown has a protected harbor for yachting and a historic whaling-era town center, as well as its popular South Beach in the Katama area and gorgeous views of the Edgartown Lighthouse. Hau’ula, Oahu, may be one of the best-kept secrets, with just 100 searches, but it has the lowest beauty score of the four Hawaii locations analyzed (4.57/10). This small, rural beach town is located on the windward coast, about 20-30 minutes from the North Shore surf spots. It is known for its stunning ocean views and the raw beauty of its mountain backdrops, whilst being a quiet and laid-back spot.

Kaunakakai, Molokai
Kaunakakai, Molokai, Hawaii, ranks joint eighth with Hau’ula (7.4/10), but scores higher for its beauty (6.04/10) and has more monthly searches. The town is located on Molokai’s central southern coastline. It features the longest pier in Hawaii (Kaunakakai Harbor) and is centered around the cozy Ala Mālama Avenue.
Seabrook Beach, New Hampshire
New Hampshire’s Seabrook Beach scores 7.07/10 and has the second-lowest number of monthly searches in the top ten, making it a great hidden gem to visit. Although it scored lower than other locations in the top ten, this location offers a peaceful, uncrowded, and charming atmosphere.
