Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington D.C. Present Their Holiday Show

The Washington Post called them “one of the world’s best,” so, if you’re in D.C. during the Holidays, you owe it to yourself to experience and support this gay men’s choir, which runs as a non-profit.

Tickets are now on sale for Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington D.C.’s annual holiday extravaganza. This year’s edition includes eclectic songs with exciting rhythms and beautiful harmonies, and featuring a high-kicking, bedazzled 17th Street Dance as well as smaller ensembles and the GenOUT Youth Chorus! Songs include “See Amid the Winter’s Snow,” “Feliz Navidad,” “Love is Christmas,” and “Silent Night.”

And if you can’t be there in person, check them out online, and consider donating. There are a variety of ways to help support this important initiative here.

Since 1981, the Gay Men’s Chorus have performed shows nationally, internationally, and in Washington, DC. They have 250+ singing members, four select ensembles, 500 donors, one dance company, one youth chorus, and an estimated annual audience of 10,000+. Their mission is to use music to promote equality, achieve justice, and overcome our differences. And we need that now more than ever!

Their season opener, Postcards, got a rave review from the local D.C. press.

Here’s a little taste of the dedication and skill of this chorus:
