Santa Monica Place Hosts Pride Celebration as Part of Citywide SaMo Pride

Attendees of all ages are invited to enjoy free Pride-themed activities, performances and giveaways as part of the citywide SaMo Pride celebration.

Santa Monica Place is excited to present its annual Pride celebration on Saturday, June 21, as part of the citywide SaMo Pride festivities. This year’s celebration features Pride Disco and Kid Zone, a family-friendly experience with inclusive craft activities, presented in partnership with Cayton Children’s Museum, face painting, giveaways and a Silent Disco. The Silent Disco is donation-based with a suggested $5 contribution and all proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the world’s largest LGBT organization, providing vital services, resources and support to help LGBTQ+ individuals thrive.

Additional festivities include pop-up performances by roller skaters and dancers and selfie-ready moments throughout Center Plaza, set beneath the radiant Lanterns of Love installation.

The event is free and open to all ages. Pride Disco participation requires a suggested $5 donation on Saturday, June 21 between 12 – 4 p.m.

Santa Monica Place Pride Kid Zone and Pride Disco will take place in Center Plaza at 395 Santa Monica Place, Santa Monica, at Broadway and Third Street Promenade. RSVP is encouraged at Eventbrite.com. For more details, visit santamonicaplace.com/events.

Pride on the Promenade will also return to Downtown Santa Monica as part of the city’s month-long SaMo Pride celebration!

Hosted by Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. (DTSM, Inc.) home to hundreds of businesses catering to the community and its visitors, this vibrant, all-ages event will take over the iconic Third Street Promenade from 12 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, bringing everyone together for a full day of music, color, and joy in honor of the LGBTQIA+ community.
